Warren Reimer
Warren L. Reimer has been practicing law in Norfolk, Nebraska since 1976. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. He formerly served on the board of directors of the Omaha Legal Aid Society, serving one year as its president.
Warren Reimer received his B.S. in Business Administration and graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1975. He is a member of the Madison County and 7th Judicial District Bar Associations having served as their president.
After law school, Mr. Reimer worked as a deputy Dakota County Attorney and then joined the law firm of Bernard H. Ptak in Norfolk, Nebraska. In 1977 he formed a partnership with David H. Ptak, known as Ptak, Ptak and Reimer, which operated through 1984. In 1985 he began his own law practice. While maintaining his own private practice he also served as a Deputy Madison County Attorney and as a Special Deputy County Attorney for Holt, Boyd, Rock, Brown and Cherry Counties for mental health commitments from 1985 to 1997. Warren closed the Reimer Law Office, P.C., L.L.O., December 31, 2022, and joined the firm of Brogan Lammli, P.C., L.L.O., where he continues serving clients for their estate planning needs.
Warren has been active in community affairs. He was a 47-year member of the Norfolk Morning Kiwanis Club, serving as its President and serving the Nebraska-Iowa District of Kiwanis as a Lt. Governor for Northeast Nebraska. He also was a board member of the Norfolk Panthers Booster Club and Northeast Community College Hawks Booster Club, and as president of both. He is a 40+ year member of the Norfolk Country Club serving many years on the board of directors and one year as President. Another activity for Mr. Reimer is as a long-time board member of a local not-for-profit, Improved Living, Inc., serving the housing needs of members of the community with mental health issues.
